Ridge Winchester has won a Central South Business Award in the ‘Professional Services’ category.

The award is given for excellence in a regulated sector, underpinned by a strong financial performance and adherence to a professional code of conduct.

We were also shortlisted in the ‘Large Business’ category, while former Office Managing Partner Richard Hand was a finalist in the ‘Businessperson of the Year’ category.

The awards ceremony took place at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton on 28 September.

Winchester is the second-largest Ridge office, now employing over 100 staff within 14 teams. Richard has recently passed the mantle of Office Managing Partner, having created and grown a thriving and resilient business which has had a significant positive impact on Winchester and the surrounding area. He is now supporting and mentoring new Office Managing Partner David Johnson as he builds on this strong legacy, growing the business strategically and sustainably to become the property and construction consultants of choice for the Central South region. Richard is also leading Ridge Winchester’s move to high-quality new premises, set to complete later this year.

Ridge Winchester has won several other awards (in 2022 alone winning RICS, SECBE and RESI Awards as well as ‘Large Business of the Year’ at the Winchester Business Excellence Awards and ‘Specialist Consultancy of the Year’ at the Insider South East Property Awards).
