Property and construction consultancy Ridge and Partners LLP (Ridge) has appointed Oliver Peat as Project Management Associate in its Bristol team.

Oliver joins Ridge from Associated British Ports where he led major infrastructure projects in his role as Development Manager. Prior to that, he spent five years at Bristol Airport, overseeing the airport’s expansion projects and supporting capacity and master planning. He also brings consultancy experience having held project management roles at both Turner & Townsend and Gleeds.

Oliver joins a growing Bristol office at Ridge, which has seen it invest in a new city centre office and make several senior appointments in the last 12 months. Last year, it announced the appointment of Nathan Moss as Project Management Partner, who has overseen the growth of the project management team by more than 30%.

Speaking of his appointment, Oliver said:

There is a wealth of potential to grow not only the project management team but also the wider Bristol office in the region. It’s fantastic to already be adding value to major projects like the University of Gloucester’s multi-million-pound transformation of the former Debenhams store in Gloucester City Centre.”

Oliver is a qualified structural engineer and MCIOB Chartered Construction Manager.
