Salix decarbonisation funding: are you eligible?

13 August 2024

Phase 4 of the Salix Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) will make £1.17 billion of Government funding available to public sector bodies for heat decarbonisation and associated energy efficiency and building fabric enhancements between 2025 and 2028. If you’re a public sector organisation looking for funding to decarbonise, we can guide you through the complex process.

With fund allocation now focused on value assessment, the need for extensive design, higher cost certainty and greater understanding of carbon reductions at application stage is even more important. The application window is now open as of 9th October 2024 until 25th November 2024. For organisations that would like to apply but have not yet prepared a submission, we can help you prepare for future application windows.

We provide comprehensive multidisciplinary support to help public sector clients understand the feasibility of decarbonisation at their existing sites, the possible implementation measures, the anticipated energy and carbon reductions and associated costs.

Our services include:

  • Salix Fund Advice – application guidance and support
  • Cost Management – estimate of anticipated costs, like-for-like replacement, cashflow forecasting
  • Project Management – risk and programme management, consultant oversight
  • Building Surveying – surveys, feasibility studies, options appraisals, design
  • Building Services Engineering – surveys, feasibility studies, options appraisals, design
  • Structural Engineering – surveys, feasibility studies, options appraisals, design
