Ridge takes home a triple win at the 2024 National Building and Construction Awards

30 October 2024

We won ‘Consultant of the Year’ for the second year in a row, along with a silver ‘Women in Construction’ award and the coveted ‘Overall Winner’ award

The ‘Consultancy of the Year’ is awarded to the company which, in the view of the judging panel, demonstrates the most significant and sustained achievement over the last 12 months, illustrating development through the quality of their work.

The distinguished Gold Award highlights our dedication to surpassing client expectations by emphasising quality, innovation, and growth. It celebrates our team’s expertise in crafting tailored, creative solutions to meet the unique challenges our clients face, all while we continually expand our capabilities and invest in developing our people.

Abby Foster, Sustainability Partner, took home the silver ‘Women in Construction’ award. The sustainability offering that Abby established is now an integral part of what we offer. Not only that, Abby is a passionate advocate for the promotion and normalisation of women in leadership roles within the construction industry.

A surprise highlight of the evening was receiving the coveted ‘Overall Winner’ award. We were also thankful to be shortlisted for Project of the Year (10 million to 25 million) for Centurion House at Bath Cricket Club.

It was an honour for our work and our people to be recognised at the NBC Awards. Being awarded ‘Consultancy of the Year’ comes in the same year as being ranked 18th in Building Magazine’s Top 150 Consultants list. Although a comparatively small organisation, our strength across disciplines allows us to deliver agile advice to our clients, which I think plays a huge part in the successes we’ve seen this year.
