Guy is an expert in residential, mixed-use and education-related projects; commercial and rural development relating to individual planning proposals; and strategic promotion of land for development as part of the development plan process. He offers broad experience advising on, submitting and negotiating planning applications. Guy works closely with a wide range of private developers, house builders, education establishments and landowners on a variety of development projects across the country. He has built up considerable knowledge in providing evidence as an expert witness at public inquiries.

A chartered town planner (MRTPI), Nick has 20 years of private consultancy experience. He joined Ridge from a global multi-national consultancy, where he was national Head of Planning for the GB region leading a large team of planners across offices in England and Wales.

Nick has extensive large-scale and strategic residential experience; alongside recent work in multiple other sectors, including education, healthcare, commercial, community and leisure, defence and regeneration.

Working with and leading multidisciplinary teams, Nick helps clients develop and deliver complex planning strategies to unlock potential and add value to land and property assets through the planning system.
