We embed a robust Net Zero strategy at project level, ensuring lasting environmental, social, and economic value. Every member of our multidisciplinary teams plays a role in reducing your project emissions, supported by clear frameworks for ‘Project Approach’ and ‘Design Approach’ to Net Zero Carbon.
We become trusted advisors, helping you reduce risk and maximise the long-term performance, resilience and value of your assets. By combining national expertise with local insight, we keep you ahead of the constantly evolving sustainability landscape—whether that’s meeting the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard today or preparing for tomorrow’s regulations like the Future Homes Standard and BREEAM v7. Our team includes accredited CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants and BREEAM, SKA and WELL assessors, who work alongside you to make sustainable building solutions straightforward and achievable.
We’re committed to reaching Net Zero emissions across our operations by 2050, with clear interim targets keeping us on track. Our Carbon Reduction Plan sets out a measurable, step-by-step path to get there, and we’re embedding sustainability into every part of our business.
Our Environmental Management System provides the framework across all our offices, helping us monitor progress on those environmental goals while meeting our legal and compliance obligations. We’re actively protecting the environment by preventing pollution, choosing sustainable products and reducing waste and energy through reuse and recycling. Through ongoing training, we ensure our staff understand their environmental responsibilities and play an active role in continuously improving our performance.
Our Social Value team runs Green Futures, a free, one-day carbon literacy workshop, designed in-house and accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project. It empowers local communities to take climate action and make more sustainable choices in daily life.
Through our Carbon Excellence Fund, we offer up to £10,000 in funding to grassroots organisations driving community-led climate resilience.
Our in-house ESG Framework supports the delivery of our vision to redefine excellence in the built environment.
Seven themes guide our operations:
