The Oxfordshire Advanced Skills (OAS) Centre will offer young people apprenticeships of the highest quality and provide training in a work place environment.
Oxfordshire businesses that offer apprenticeships will supported by this initiative, there will be a wide range of partnerships in disciplines including robotics and cryogenics.
The aim of this initiative is to enable between 120 and 160 highly-skilled technicians to enter the local workforce each year, with the same qualification as if they had been to university.
