We have appointed Wayne Ashton as Healthcare Planning Partner, to lead a new area of expertise for the healthcare planning sector and further enhance the existing healthcare offering.

Wayne Ashton brings over 30 years of expertise across all aspects of healthcare, including experience working within the NHS, NHS Trusts and NHS Local Improvement Finance Trusts (LIFT).

Having worked for the NHS in a variety of clinical and managerial roles, and holding a MSc in Planning Buildings for Health from the Medical Architecture Research Unit (MARU) at London Southbank University, Wayne’s deep understanding of the sector will be valuable both for the sector team at Ridge as well as for healthcare clients across the UK.

Wayne has previously held roles as a clinical paramedic in the NHS Ambulance Service, a Service Development Manager with an NHS Trust, and in healthcare planning consulting, delivering services and estates infrastructure projects for NHS Trusts. Speaking of his appointment, Wayne said:
