Ridge provided multidisciplinary services for the refurbishment of a 1930s property into an out-patient facility for Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Our team oversaw a comprehensive Thermal Model and Low and Zero Carbon Assessment of the site to understand its energy usage and produce a scheme that reduced the building’s carbon footprint. This included upgrading the building fabric to reduce heat loss, introducing LED lighting with control and occupancy sensors and installing a new control system for energy saving and monitoring.
