A new sustainable store for House of Fraser located within 200 acres of SSSI wetland in Northamptonshire. The 64,000sqft out-of-town development offers a green retail space, certified to BREEAM sustainable building standard Very Good.
Ridge worked with House of Fraser for 12 months prior to this project, providing specialist M&E cost management advice on LED lighting roll outs.
The environmentally friendly design comprises:
Energy efficient high CRI LED lighting delivering a minimum 70 lumens/circuit at less than 10w/sqm
Displacement and heat recovery ventilation systems
Building energy management system (BEMS) providing fully automatic control and optimisation of HVAC and lighting systems with presence and daylight sensing
8m high living wall within the main atrium escalator hall.
