MEPC Silverstone Park, Plot K Silverstone

Ridge was appointed by MEPC to drive its masterplan for Silverstone Park, an 130-acre innovation and business development park, attractive to high-tech engineering companies.

Initially, Ridge provided an overall strategy to enable the development to progress and enable critical activities to be identified and focused on. The Project Team was formed and consisted of multiple consultants for whom Ridge provided an overall management role. As the masterplan has developed, Ridge involvement has evolved into providing specific services on a project-by-project basis, such as Cost Consultant, Employers Agent and Principal Designer.

Projects include:

Plot K Phase 1 & 2: The construction of new spine road together with 255,000sqft of B1 industrial space split across 6no. terrace units and 7no. standalone units; all units shell, core and Cat A fit out to mezzanine; BREEAM Very Good; contract value £20 million; completed December 2020.

Plot K Phase 3: Obtaining of reserved matters planning consent for a further 265,000sqft; 4no. stand-alone Units, a mixture of shell only and shell, core & Cat A units; works commenced Quarter 1 2021. BREEAM Excellent; contract value under negotiation.

As the various phases of the project have progressed, Ridge has also supported MEPC to assist in tenant enquiries and associated fit out works.
