Oxford City Town Hall Planned and Preventative Maintenance Report and Laser Scan
Ridge were instructed to complete a 30 year planned maintenance report and level 2 BIM model for the Oxford City Town Hall.
The Town Hall is a 19th century building used for civic and council functions. Historically, the Town Hall has been a County Court and a Police Station.
Ridge Building Surveyors used iPad technology to record preventative and cyclical maintenance over a 30-year timeframe.
Ridge Geospatial Surveyors carried out a detailed laser scan survey using the latest Leica RTC360 scanning technology. All information was geo-referenced to an exact control grid, and the scan data was converted into a 3D Revit model. The model was integrated with the condition survey providing the Facilities Management team with a pool of data to use when planning future refurbishment and maintenance works.
