Knowsley Central School needed to increase their SEND offering to meet the growth of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Ridge provided multidisciplinary services for a Stage 2 feasibility study for the design of a new-build primary school.
The design allows for future expansion and features therapy rooms, a hydrotherapy pool and classrooms with safe access to outdoor play. Our proposal provided an estimate of construction costs, an initial heating, ventilation, energy and daylighting strategy, and outlined the site constraints that could occur later in the project. We also produced a bespoke transport feasibility report for the school.
